As a food reviewer at Foodjoyy, I was drawn to The Taste of Brazil not just by the promise of spectacular cuisine, but by the unique atmosphere that captures the essence of Brazil. From the moment you step inside, the casual yet classy ambiance invites you to relax and enjoy. The culinary offerings at The Taste of Brazil are indeed the stars of the show. Their handmade hamburgers are a must-try—take, for instance, the XTudo Hamburger which boasts layers of homemade flavor: a 12oz patty paired with ham, mozzarella, bacon, and a fried egg, all embraced by a soft brioche bun. Each bite sings with freshness and creativity.
And let’s not forget the refreshing milkshakes—they are the perfect indulgence to complement your meal, whether you opt for classic flavors like vanilla and chocolate or something distinctively Brazilian like the Ninho with Nutella.
The salad bar deserves a spotlight of its own. It’s not just an afterthought; it offers a vibrant selection of fresh ingredients, perfect for customizing your meal. As some customers have noted, the rice, sweet plantains, and chicken salad are often highlighted favorites, making every plate as unique as its creator.
The atmosphere is alive with the energy of Brazilian culture, especially on match days when soccer fills the screens and laughter fills the air. Diners rave about the friendly staff and the clean, inviting environment where you can feel comfortable dressing casually while enjoying quality meals.

“ The food, atmosphere, service, valet parkin, ALL amazing!! Yes, from soup to nuts , a must go to in Newark, NJ! ”
“ Wow I'm full! I came here with my Brazilian friend. This is one of the many Brazilian places in Northeast Philly. The customers and workers were mostly Brazilian. The workers know English as well. We went around 1pm and were able to be seated right away but it did seem to get full as the time went on. We went on a Sunday which is a big day for soccer in Brazil so they played the games on the tvs and the atmosphere was energized. ”
“ I was told about this place from a friend & Ive been hooked every since. I normally get takeout, but I have sat inside as well. They don't walk around w meat like other steakhouses. The flavor is good on the meats nonetheless thats all that really matters. The salad bar has some good options as well. I get the same items rice, sweet plantains, fresh salad, & chicken salad. Im a forever customer Ps once they had guacamole which I loved but I haven't seen it again :( ”
“ The food is simply amazing! The staff is. friendly. It's nice and clean and you're not too closed in! ”
“ Food here is always really good, especially for the price! The staff is generally friendly, though the language barrier has made some interactions a bit challenging. If you want some authentic Rodizio, this is the spot. ”
“ Wow! so while I have gone to a Brazilian restaurant previously, I wouldn't say I was familiar with Brazilian cuisine despite going to Chima and Fogo De Chão on a few occasions. When I walked into the restaurant the ambiance was more so take out style but it was a nice place to sit as well. Walking in right away you see the buffet of sides. Unlike the other chain Brazilian restaurants I have experienced the sides looked as if they could hold their on on my plate. They had variety of rice ,vegetables and salads that all looked quite fresh and tasty! I tried everything I could!Unknowingly ,I no idea where the meat was but I soon found out it was still being seared right behind a counter. It looked amazing I was slightly confused as to how everything was going to fit on my plate being that I had so many sides. I then was served each cut of meat that they had in the kitchen...Each piece was perfectly cooked and sliced on my plate. Once I sat down with what looked like a mountain of food ,I found myself suffering in front of my plate. The food was so delicious I couldn't stop! I was beyond stuffed. I knew I didn't want to take the food home because I just knew the flavors wouldn't be the same the next day. After eating as much as I could I had a taste of their mango strawberry fruit drink...Wow, the drink was so vibrant I could taste how naturally ripe the strawberries were as well as the mangoes. While this place may not look as fancy of Fogo de Chão the food here is definitely well above! Definitely a hidden Jem I need to go back and try their desserts ! ”
